I like to posterize ideas as a first step. It's a good way to pressure-test concepts, explore the overall look, and simplify as much as possible. Chunky sans serif font, or something softer? Should the protagonist be a silhouette, or more personalized? Would a solid color background help amplify the storyline? For cultural relevance, we explored visual styles from Tame Impala music videos, concert posters, and camera treatments from hyper realism to Wes Anderson.
